SNOW CROWN

Winter. It doesn’t have to suck anymore.

There’s more than a few of us that ride fat bikes that used to dread the onset of winter, but now we look forward to it. A fat bike will change your relationship with Mother Nature. You’ll come to dream about fresh snow falling while ripping through the woods with your friends. The beauty of a cold, crisp winter day. Post-ride shenanigans. Join the fat bike community and discover winter again.

Green Bay Winter Ultra 50

January 7- February 25

Green Bay and Surrounding Areas

New this year! For those of you who want the challenge of a longer distance but don’t want the commitment of a 100 mile ride, we are offering a 50 mile ultra option. You will have just over one month to complete the Green Bay Winter Ultra. A course file will be provided with the route prior to January 7, 2023. The ultra must be ridden in 18 hours or less and on a fat bike with a tire width of at least 3.8″.  You will need to follow park and road rules. All trail venues must be open to riding the day you decide to take on the ultra. It is the rider’s responsibility to verify the venues are open. You MUST follow the course map. The only deviations allowed are ones that are announced by Snow Crown. Any changes that might come up will be shared with the ultra riders via email. The trail systems the ultra will use are Reforestation Camp, He Nis Ra Park, Baird Creek, Green Bay Country Club, and Hilly Haven Golf Course. Please email Sarah at Sarah@brokenspokebikes.com prior to your start so we know you are on the course. Headlight and taillights are mandatory! You will need to send your completed ride map file to Sarah at Sarah@brokenspokebikes.com by February 25 at midnight to be considered a finisher. Each rider must provide their own ride file to Sarah. Even if you are riding with a group, each individual is to turn in their own ride file. This is a stand alone event and is not part of the four race Snow Crown Series. You must register for it separately.

PRIZES FOR OUR SERIES RIDERS

Series participants may receive some pretty sweet swag!

This year, our sponsors have donated some insane prizes.

SINGLETRACK, DOUBLETRACK, SNOW AND BEER

We’ve got a little bit of everything!

Since each of our event venues are a little bit different, the Snow Crown Series has something for everyone. Want to ride on the beach next to Lake Michigan? We’ve got it. Fly through a golf course in the middle of winter? We’ve got it. Go as fast as you can on wide-open ski trails. Yep, we’ve got that too.

LET’S HAVE FUN IN THE SNOW

Our events are friendly, fun and exciting!

Sure, you get a number plate, and we call it a race but as we like to scream “It just doesn’t matter!” We want you to come to a Snow Crown event with one goal: smiles for miles.

Whether you race your friends for bragging rights, or just ride for fun, the only thing that matters is if you had a smile on your face. Join us for the most fun you can (legally) have in the winter, because whipping donuts in the parking lot is discouraged by the man.

The Snow Crown Series, now in its 10th year, is one of the longest-running fat bike events in the country.

Our events are for everyone!

Wether you just got into riding a fat bike or you’re the North American Fat Bike Racing Champion, riders of all skill levels have fun at the Snow Crown series. From our humble beginnings in Manitowoc, WI ten years ago to our current 4-race series in WI we’re the midwest’s best race series with the most snow.
